‘Shut up and Write’ – a writing workshop with a difference facilitated by Lisa Peacock on Wednesday 20th March at our Port Macquarie Library.
During Seniors Week Lisa is facilitating a creative writing workshop with morning tea starting at 10.00am and finishing at 12.30pm. She guarantees an experience that’s not just educational but downright fun.
Sessions are all inclusive, all abilities with people who develop friendships with others and nurture a desire and interest to write. Registration is limited to 20 participants so register now to ensure your place for this free event.
We ask that if you are unable to attend you will cancel with adequate time for us to contact people on the waiting list.

Facilitator – Lisa Peacock
Meet Lisa Ann Peacock who loves the creative fields – from writing to art, design, photography, and digital media. Her lessons, whether one-on-one or in lively group workshops, welcome everyone, regardless of age or ability.
As a creative with a 38 year career she worked in publishing, public relations, entertainment, film and television. Always keen to learn new skills, she studied playwriting with NIDA and Novel Writing with Gotham Writers in New York.
Equipped with a Graduate Diploma in Creative Writing, and a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication from the University of Technology. Lisa doesn’t just run workshops – she has two Certificate III’s in disability and aged care support. Lisa loves to up-skill and provides support for NDIS clients and wider community.
