Do you have an exciting trip on the horizon and need to learn a new language – or is there a New Years Resolution you need to make good on – but don’t know where to turn? You may or may not already know, but your local library should be in your language learning tool box. You can learn a new language from the comfort of your own home with any digital device.
Mango languages is a free language learning resource for all library members and can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection. Mango languages offers access to 60 foreign language courses and 17 English courses combining real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions.
The courses are presented with an appreciation for cultural nuance and real-world application by focusing on the four key elements of language learning: vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture. For support with using the service please refer to the Mango FAQ.
