We are excited to host author Maura Luxford at Wauchope Library on Monday the 2nd of November for a discussion of her latest memoir, One White Post at a Time. Following the death of her eldest daughter, Hannah, aged 20, from melanoma, Maura founded the social enterprise ride4acure. Over the next five years, she undertook three extraordinary long-distance treks by bicycle and horses, raising awareness across five Australian states. Along the way, she shared Hannah’s story with more than 25,000 young people in rural and remote communities, raising over $150,000 for the Hannah Rose Melanoma Research Fund.
