Poetry by Gill Goater

In Her Voice

Gill Goater was a local poet of tremendous talent. We have recorded a selection of her original works at the Imaginarium studio at Port Macquarie Library to share her voice with the local community and friends far and wide. The first series was released at a launch event with Gill in April of 2023. The second series has been released posthumously after we lost Gill later that year. We hope they are of comfort to her community. Unless otherwise stated, all poems are recorded in Gill’s own voice.
