Feeling poetic? Express yourself this summer with the Summer Poetry Competition.
Poets of all ages are invited to submit a poem that they have written about the theme: Growing Together. These could explore themes of community, exploration, connection, and learning, or whatever inspires you! All entries will be compiled into a book that will be available for loan from the libraries from early 2026. Prizes will also be awarded to entrants from all age groups who have submitted exceptional pieces of poetry.
There are 2 ways you can enter:
- Download and print out our entry form (or pickup a copy at your local library) then return your completed form to the library front desk; OR
- Submit your poem as a word or pdf document via the form below.
The theme for poems is: “Growing Together”
Winners from each age group will be notified by email.
Entries are CLOSED. Keep an eye out for our next competition, starting in December 2026.
