Friday June 21, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Port Macquarie Library
32 Grant St
Port Macquarie, New South Wales 2444 Australia

Please join us for informative and inspiration chat with Maggie Walters at our Port Macquarie Library on Friday 21st June at 10.30am.

Maggie lives in Northern NSW with her husband and family. As a trauma survivor, she shares her courageous journey towards wholeness, confronting stereotypes around mental health.

Her work appears in the Anthology, Don’t Let Suicide Kill You and an early draft of SPLIT was long-listed for the Richell Emerging Writers Prize.

S P L I T  A LIFE SHARED: LIVING WITH MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER

How does a child survive years of unimaginable abuse? She splits.

And splits again.

And again.

And again.

And she does survive, but not without consequences.

This is a story not only of survival but of self-acceptance, of the triumph to simply live.

Local book shop, Collins Books Port Macquarie, will be selling Maggie’s Split on the day.
