Please join us for an information presentation with Ian Keast at our Port Macquarie Library on Friday 20th June at 10.30am. Ian is President of the Fellowship of Australian Writers – Port Macquarie Hastings Branch.
Ian is a poet and critic whose work is published in various literary journals and anthologies. He was a teacher of English in Tertiary and Secondary Education, and retired as Head of English at Barker College, in Sydney. Ian and his wife, Ann, live at Laurieton.
As President of the Fellowship of Australian Writers-Port Macquarie-Hastings Branch, Ian will be speaking about the, ‘Why’? and, ‘Who for’? of writing. The FAW and what it offers through membership and publications will form part of his presentation.
