Fleur McDonald is a bestselling Australian crime author with 27 novels and over 1 million books sold, best known for her Detective Dave Burrows series. Raised in rural South Australia, she has a deep connection to the land and the outback, which inspires much of her writing. Fleur publishes two books a year, is a regular guest speaker at country shows, ladies’ days and writers’ festivals, and is also the founder of DVassist, supporting regional communities affected by family and domestic violence. She lives in Esperance, Western Australia with her two children and border collie Shadow.
