Imagine your own story!

The imagination is limitless, if we use our eyes and ears to look at the world around us for ideas. We will become treasure-hunters of stories. What about our own lives, the creatures in our gardens, our neighbourhoods, or the world around us, is interesting? We will use all of this to create our own characters and plots!

Local author, Alanna Alfaro will share with you how she first began writing stories (probably at the same age as you!), and then you will work through the steps to write your very own. You will leave the workshop with a new sense of possibility, a draft of a story of your own, and perhaps even a completed story ready for illustrations!

Ages: 7 years and up.

Bookings are essential. As spaces are limited in this session, please ensure that you arrive on time. Your place will be held for 15 minutes from the event start.
