Janet from National Parks will lead us on a guided tour of the historical Lake Innes site The Ruins on Wednesday 24th September from 10am – 12pm.
Leanne will share Annabella’s story from the book based on her journal.
In this immersive experience, we’ll wander the ruins guided by Janet, and read from Annabella of Lake Innes following her steps and viewing the home through her eyes,
We will meet at the site. Car pooling is recommended.
Innes Ruins Historic Site’s public access gate is 8km west of Port Macquarie town centre:
- From the Oxley Highway take the John Oxley Drive roundabout exit and turn left onto The Ruins Way.
- Follow The Ruins Way to the southern end, turn right onto The Point Drive, and stop at the locked gate on the left.
