Kim Hodges grew up in Coolah, a small remote town in Central NSW. She has lived in Sydney and abroad in her 20s and 30s; starkly different to Coolah. In her mid 40s she commenced writing her memoir (storing it in the cupboard!) for her three sons to read in the years to come, before realising this story was unique and may resonate with a broad readership. She has now written her memoir in trilogy (Girl On The Edge, Girl Over The Edge and Girl On The Ward). Kim currently resides on the NSW north coast and immerses herself in the pristine beauty of beaches, mountains and estuaries.
