Family History Research Muster

As part of Seniors Week celebrations in March 2010, Kempsey Library will be holding a Family History Research Muster  on Wednesday 24 March between 10.30am and 4.30pm.  Presenters will include representatives from Church of Latter Day Saints FamilySearch project, the Port Macquarie Family History Group and the Coffs Harbour Family History Group.  Also present will be Port Macquarie Library's Family and Local History Librarian Jeff Stonehouse, Noeline Kyle - author of family histories, Steve MacDonald - oral history practitioner and Bruce Cain - family genealogist.

After a short presentation from each of our special guests listed above there will be time for individual consultations right throughout the day.  Bring in your tough question and get tips and advice on where to go next in your search.  If you are new to the family history area come in and find out what its all about.

Bookings are not necessary.  For all enquiries please phone Kempsey Library on 6566 3210.

Hey there Jeff, how did the muster go? Sounded like a good promotional day? Nice to see you at RISG yesterday.
